Are makers of performance art. We celebrate songs, sounds, words & dynamic visual stage craft elements.
Established in late 2016 by MJ Wilson, Bricolage Shows intention is to create unique performance art pieces. This occurs by creating performance work using an agile methodology, testing performance in the fastest possible way to production. The philosophy is use our tool kit to create shows with reduced costs, quickly and with maximum visual and sound impacts.
A strategic direction for 2018/19 has been created, that outlines the progression of presenting three new works:
- AAA (Access all Areas) – performance art
- Gay Agenda Conversations – play
- Butch Show Tunes – Musical Theatre
To do this, Bricolage Shows is grateful to have received support from RMIT Link Arts, The Butterfly Club, Creative Victoria through Testing Grounds, Melbourne Fringe Festival, Union Theatre and Darebin Arts Centre. We welcome ongoing support in our quest to create home-grown performance art, as it is a vital component in producing new works in Australia.
